Onwubiko was born in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, he attending the prestigious Teachers College, his tertiary education was at the Famous Catholic Claretian Institute of Philosophy, Maryland, Nekede, Owerri (affiliated to Pontificia Università Urbaniana Rome) where he studied Philosophy.
